I am the Principal Nutritionist and Company Technical Director for Applied Nutrition. If you know me personally, it is very clear how passionate I am about Applied Poultry/Avian/Aquaculture and Animal Nutrition and have spent my career consulting and developing nutritional products for a range of specific client’s needs. This has lead me with an interest in the nutrition of poultry and livestock operations in developing countries. I first graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Poultry Technology (with Honours) in 1972, I have worked for many years, with private and government organizations within Australia and international poultry and feed companies in New Zealand, New Caledonia, Tahiti, Cook Islands, Indonesia, Myanmar(Burma), Thailand and Papua New Guinea.

During my career I have completed a Masters Degree in Animal Production specialising in Avian Nutrition from the University of Reading in the UK, and a PhD in Poultry Nutrition from the University of New England – Armidale.Now with over 40 years experience in the field of animal nutrition, I have worked with various livestock and aquaculture species reared in a range of environments from temperate to tropical zones. My passion for animal nutrition has grown over the years and I still enjoy the challenges it brings.

I am the founding partner of Applied Nutrition. Apart from managing the accounts and liaising with customers regarding orders, I am involved in the manufacturing of the supplements our company makes. For those who know me personally I am a big supporter of my husbands dreams. Over the years I have raised our four children, while we support Michael as he travelled and studied the Animal sciences over the years and been a big part in creating Applied Nutirition’s business and manufacturing process from the very beginning.
